This is one of the lessons that I will never forget as long as I live. It happened to me many times and maybe because I am just human that is why I commit mistakes. But I learn my lesson will. Like in career move, you must be focus not myopic in deciding whether to change lane or to straight. I changed a lot of companies many times without any concrete reason at all. If you are not happy what you are doing today, I think you do further steps rather than stop and doing noting but just be careful not to procrastinate what you are planning.
A rolling stone gather no moss. That is what happening to me. Having good grades in school is not enough to compete in real world today. There are lots of wild animals in the jungle competing for one goal in this world called success. You must have a weapon or something to fight.
This post might not clear to you but think about it, life is a competition, you win some, you lose some.
