Almond is a kind of nut which is very beneficial to our health. You might think that Almond is too oily for a snack but researchers have discovered that this nut is good to your health as 90% of the fat is unsaturated and can lower blood cholesterol levels. It is high in protein, fiber, calcium, magnesium, potassium, vitamin E, and other antioxidants. Almonds help prevent osteoporosis and they regulate blood pressure. In fact Almond is the most nutritious of all nuts.
Salmon is a fish that can be cultured or wild. The cultured salmon though has a high content of Omega-3 which is good for the heart and can lower blood cholesterol level but has a higher level content of cancer causing chemicals. So if you weigh the benefits and the risk, it is better to choose the wild salmon than the cultured one.
