Here is how not to get Kidney Diseases in simple ways and how to avoid Renal Failure. If you have diabetes, high blood sugar, high blood pressure, or a family history of kidney disease, you may be at higher risks of kidney disease. Infectious diseases such as measles scarlet fever and tonsillitis can damage the kidney if not treated properly and completely. High doses of painkillers like Advil, Nuprin, and others can lead to kidney dysfunction. Lead and other metallic poisons are very harmful to the kidneys.

Anyone who works with lead, or who is exposed to lead regularly, should take precautions to protect his or her kidneys from damage. Eat foods like asparagus papaya, bananas, celery, cucumbers, garlic, parsley, potatoes, watercress, watermelon and pumpkin seeds as they are beneficial to the kidneys. Watermelon should be eaten by itself so that it passes through the system quickly if it stays in the body too long, toxins begin to form. These foods can help you how not to get Kidney Diseases (Renal Failure).

Another way on how not to get Kidney Diseases (renal failure) is to do the following. These foods contain amino acids arginine, which is beneficial to the kidneys. Drink 6 to 8 ounces of distilled water. Quality water is essential for urinary tract infection. Avoid all dairy products except for all that is soured like low-fat yogurt, buttermilk and cottage cheese. Reduce your intake of animal protein or eliminate as much ,as it is possible.

A diet high in animal protein put stress on the kidneys. Excess accumulation of protein can cause uremia. Good sources of protein include beans, lentils, millet, peas, soybeans and whole grains. Reduce your intake of potassium and phosphorous if your levels of these are high. Do not use salt or potassium chloride (salt substitute). Also avoid beet greens, eggs, cocoa, fish, meat, rhubarb, spinach, swiss chard, and tea.

If you have blood in the urine or severe back pain consult your Doctor right away. If you have recurrent urinary tract infection, it indicates the possibility of a serious underlying problem of your kidneys and also consults your Doctor right away. Cranberries contain substances that acidify the urine , destroy bacteria build up and promote healing of the kidneys.

Drink at least 8 ounces of the cranberry juice three times daily. Don't use the commercial cranberry juice cocktail product as they contain a large amount of sugar. Celery and parsley seeds are natural diuretics. Taken in combination, they are especially helpful if high uric acid levels are found in the blood. Eating a large amount of animal protein gives you the risk of getting high uric acid. If you are
taking antibiotics for kidney problems, do not take iron supplements as long as the problem exists. These are the ways on how not to get Kidney Diseases like Renal Failure.
