Cordyceps Mushroom

Cordyceps Mushroom

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the Kidneys are responsible for the origin of life, storing the life essence. If the Kidneys are strengthened, the life essence is increased, and thus one is full of vigor and vitality and can live a long and healthy life. Cordyceps mushroom (Cordyceps sinensis), is a high-quality, natural nutrient, used in traditional Chinese medicine especially to nourish the Kidneys and yin energy and to moisturize the lung. Its ingredients include cordycepin, which benefits the Kidneys and strengthens the body to cure all kinds of consumptive diseases.

The classic “Questions and Answers on A Hundred Medical Herbs” says, “Cordyceps sinensis is a panacea.” From the viewpoint of modern medicine, a quarter of the blood pumped out from the heart flows through the Kidneys, and metabolites and other residue are thus filtered. Therefore through functions of filtration, secretion and reabsorption, the Kidneys play an important role in regulating, promoting and steadying various systems in the body, such as blood circulation, water metabolism and respiration. Any damage or disease in the Kidneys is harmful to health. The Kidneys are very important in many life activities.

According to modern medicine, in the blood plasma of a sufferer of chronic renal failure, the leucine, isoleucine, trytophan, tyrosine and lysine in the free amino acids drop drastically, leading to malnutrition, edema and weakness. Cordyceps, however, contains these amino acids. Supplementation with Cordyceps provides the essential amino needed by the patient.

There is no toxicity in this herb and it can be taken for a long times because it is natural.
